For Immediate
Release
RadioASB liaison with Reelin' In The Years Productions LLC
San Diego, CA – September 8, 2006 - Syntarus
Corporation, a global telecommunications, radio broadcast programming
and information management technology firm based in San Diego, CA
today formally announced that subsidiary RadioASB (American Songbook
Radio) has formed a promotion and marketing liaison with Reelin'
In The Years Productions LLC, a San Diego based music and video
footage library company.
In reference to the liaison, RadioASB Executive Vice President
Richard F. Burrell relates, “The synergy that exists between
our companies was quite apparent from the start. RadioASB is dedicated
to preserving the creative genius of the American Songbook catalog
and presenting this cultural legacy to a worldwide listening audience
through radio and Internet technologies. Reelin' In The Years Productions
LLC was founded with the goal of preserving music performance footage
from around the world, much of it previously unseen and never before
released, and making it available to the entertainment industry
and the public through all forms of media.”
According to David Peck, President of Reelin' In The Years Productions
LLC, “We have amassed the largest music footage library in
the world, housing over 10,000 hours of performances from all genres
of music covering the last 50 years. We exclusively represent the
rights to all of the music footage contained within 30 television
stations throughout Europe, Australia and Japan and are able to
license that material to all forms of media. Our music footage library
runs the gamut from intense, full-length concerts to in-the-studio
live and lip-sync performances. Although this constitutes the lion's
share of our archive we also possess many interviews with the performers,
as well as a wide variety of b-roll footage, which is perfect for
utilizing as supplemental material on a DVD home video release.”
Phil Galloway, Vice President of Reelin' In The Years Productions
LLC, adds, “In addition to our visual library, we also have
over 2,000 concerts and in-the-studio live performances recorded
for radio that span the last 40 years. Most of the footage and radio
recordings in our library have never been seen or heard by the world
at large, and our library is unique in the fact that most of the
performances contained within were only broadcast once or twice
in the country of origin. In fact, in many cases these performances
were never broadcast at all.”
Tom Gulotta, Art Director at Reelin' In The Years Productions LLC,
commenting on the specifics of their archive library, relates, “Our
library archive has been utilized in a wide variety of media forms,
including feature films, documentaries, television commercials,
museums, DVD’s, compact discs and others. We work closely
with the world's major record companies as well as most respected
broadcasters, and through our work we have developed a reputation
for fast, knowledgeable and courteous service.” He adds, “With
more material being discovered each day we are constantly expanding
our horizons of what we can present to the world of visual and audio
entertainment.”
Scott Chatfield, Vice President of Reelin' In The Years Productions
LLC, adds, “In addition to licensing short clips for documentaries,
we have also been involved in creating product and releasing whole
performances from our archive.” He adds, “Reelin' In
The Years Productions LLC is happy to work with any and all parties
to officially license and release both audio and video performances
from within our unique and massive archive. We are very clearance
conscience and we insist that all parties are on-board for any potential
audio/video releases that utilize our material.”
