RadioASB to cover 2006 San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival
San Diego, CA – September 28, 2006 - Syntarus Corporation,
a global telecommunications, radio broadcast programming and information
management technology firm based in San Diego, CA today formally
announced that subsidiary RadioASB (American Songbook Radio) will
cover the 3rd Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival produced
by World of Wine Events, a San Diego based event management and
festival production company specializing in the creation of world-class
wine and culinary trade and consumer events.
The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is southern California’s
largest and most widely recognized wine and gourmet food extravaganza.
This year’s festival, scheduled for November 9th through the
12th, encompasses four days of truly world-class wine and culinary
events which will take place at myriad locations throughout San
Diego.
According to RadioASB Executive Vice President Richard F. Burrell,
“RadioASB has just recently entered into a media partner relationship
with World of Wine Events, and we are already in the midst of developing
a significant radio promotional campaign for their upcoming 3rd
Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival.” He adds, “We
will also be providing on-location RadioASB coverage at this year’s
event.”
Mr. Ken Loyst, Executive President of World of Wine Events notes,
“The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is an international
showcase of the world's premier wine and spirits producers, award
winning fine dining restaurants, world renowned master chefs, nationally
recognized culinary personalities, celebrated cookbook authors and
gourmet food companies of distinction.” He adds, “This
will be our third consecutive year producing the San Diego Bay Wine
& Food Festival, and this year’s event promises to be
absolutely spectacular.”
Ms. Michelle Metter, festival co-producer and World of Wine Events
Executive Vice President, elaborates, “This year we have expanded
the number of wineries and restaurants that will participate as
well as added even more master chefs and culinary celebrities in
order to ensure that we bring one of the nation’s finest wine
and food events to America’s Finest City.” She continues,
“Since the event sold out last year, we have released a small
number of additional tickets that will be available to the public,
however, the festival will continue to remain exclusive so that
attendees never have to wait in exorbitant lines to meet and talk
with winemakers and to taste the trend-setting cuisine prepared
by our master chefs.”
Mr. Carl Sabatino, host of the "Carl Sabatino & the Morning
Show" program broadcast from RadioASB’s “Studio
7” in New York City each Monday through Friday morning from
6:00AM to 10:00AM EST, will travel to San Diego in order to spearhead
coverage of the festivities. Mr. Sabatino, a long time New York
City FM radio host, relates, "I am very much looking forward
to the RadioASB coverage of this wonderful event. It will present
us with an excellent opportunity to not only provide significant
promotion and exposure to the many wineries, master chefs and gourmet
food companies that will be exhibiting at the festival, but will
also allow us to document the incredible efforts that Ken Loyst,
Michelle Metter and World of Wine Events have put into producing
this magnificent event.” He continues, “RadioASB is
about excellent American Songbook music, and the San Diego Bay Wine
& Food Festival is all about excellent wine and food. By combining
these unique elements we will present festival attendees with the
“best of the best” of music, wine and food.” He
quickly adds with a smile, “It simply does not get much better
that that.”
The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival “kicks off”
on Thursday, November 9th, beginning three days of festivities featuring
numerous wine tasting seminars and classes conducted by award winning

where attendees will be treated to interactive cooking classes conducted
by James Beard award winning chefs, world-class cuisine produced
