RadioASB Announces Plans for Live Wall Street NYC Broadcast
San Diego, CA – October 2, 2006 - Syntarus Corporation, a
global telecommunications, radio broadcast programming and information
management technology firm based in San Diego, CA today formally
announced that subsidiary RadioASB (American Songbook Radio) will
broadcast a “live” promotional radio program from Wall
Street in New York City on Thursday, October 5, 2006.
According to RadioASB Executive Vice President Richard F. Burrell,
“The live broadcast, scheduled for October 5th from 6:00AM
to 10:00AM Eastern Time, will feature the full four hours of the
RadioASB “Carl Sabatino & the Morning Show” program.”
The RadioASB "Carl Sabatino and the Morning Show" program
serves up an engaging blend of American Popular Standards, Jazz
(classic and smooth), light Contemporary Rock and a touch of cross-over
Country, stylishly presented each Monday through Friday from 6:00AM
to 10:00AM Eastern Time by Carl J. Sabatino, a long time veteran
of New York City FM radio.
In reference to the selection of Wall Street for the broadcast
event, Mr. Sabatino comment, “We carefully considered several
New York City locations for the event, and decided that the locale
best suited for our broadcast purposes would be Wall Street, and
more specifically, directly from in front of the Wall Street icon
restaurant “Sale & Pepe” at 1 Exchange Plaza.”
Mr. Peter Semetis, noted New York City restaurateur and owner of
the prestigious, highly rated “Sale & Pepe”, which
is situated in the very heart of New York's financial district,
has graciously offered his support and sponsorship to RadioASB for
the broadcast. Along with his partner, Sale & Pepe’s General
Manager Brian Dwyer, they plan to provide hot coffee and a unique
array of classic and gourmet breakfast fare to RadioASB personnel,
interview guests and passers-by that stop to catch the early morning
event.
The RadioASB “live” Wall Street broadcast will be very
unique, as RadioASB studio engineer Joseph “JoeyB” Baron
explains, “The broadcast will be a “live” feed
transmitted wirelessly from on-site at Wall Street to a broadband
access connection and then out to a national audience on RadioASB.”
He adds, “It will be the first broadcast of this type, originating
locally from the Wall Street area in lower Manhattan and sent out
nationally over the Internet.”
Mr. Burrell adds, “The broadcast will demonstrate the ability
of RadioASB to deliver a continuous “live” wireless
broadband broadcast from a remote location outside of our studios,
in this case the Wall Street area of New York City, to a national
Internet radio audience using cost effective wireless broadband
audio and video transmissions.”
The entire “Morning Show Gang”, including studio executive
Tony “Boss Man” Camillo, studio engineer Joseph “Joey
B” Baron, studio audio technician Jason Mattia and on-air
personality Jesse Anne Pirraglia, will leave the comfort of RadioASB
“Studio 7” and venture out into the pre-dawn October
chill to assist with the broadcast. To ensure a seamless “live”
radio transmission, the RadioASB “West Coast Technical Unit”,
headed by Richard F. Burrell, will assist remotely from the west
coast in San Diego, making this a truly national RadioASB event.”
The program will feature several guests of distinction, including
renowned jazz saxophonist Frank Ascone, celebrated vocalist Michelle
Parto and Mr. Algie DeWitt IV, prominent publisher of the multi-cultural
international vogue fashion and lifestyle publication MAMi Magazine.
