Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County selects RadioASB as Media Partner

San Diego, CA – November 14, 2006 - Syntarus Corporation, a global telecommunications, radio broadcast programming and information management technology firm based in San Diego, CA today formally announced that subsidiary RadioASB (American Songbook Radio) has been selected as a Media Partner by the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County.

The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County is a private non-profit health agency dedicated to the prevention and control of epilepsy and is the only health agency providing services to the estimated 30,000 people in San Diego County afflicted with seizure disorders. The foundation also offers extensive assistance designed to help families of victims cope with and overcome problems associated with this condition.

In reference to the liaison, Syntarus Executive Vice President Richard F. Burrell explains, “I first had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Kate Capshaw, Director of Communications and Development for the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County, during the RadioASB broadcast coverage of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival. The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County had an exhibition booth at the event and Kate was presenting to festival attendees. I was extremely impressed by the enthusiasm she brought to her presentation, and her incredible dedication to the foundation’s cause was quite obvious. I immediately invited her to come over to the RadioASB broadcast tent for an “on air” interview to be included in our event coverage.”

Ms. Capshaw consented to the interview, and within the hour was “on air” with Carl J. Sabatino, host of the RadioASB “Carl Sabatino & the Morning Show” program and lead broadcaster of the RadioASB festival coverage.

Ms. Capshaw’s interview, which was extremely engaging and informative, led to arrangements for a subsequent meeting. Ms. Capshaw relates, “It became quickly apparent during the course of my discussions with Mr. Burrell that there were multiple opportunities for RadioASB to work with the foundation, and by the end of the meeting we had established a solid framework upon which to begin collaborative efforts.”

RadioASB will initially assist the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County by providing significant radio promotion for their upcoming premier holiday season charity gala event on Wednesday, November 29th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM PST, at the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego. This year’s event, the Gingerbread City 2006 “Passport to Worlds of Wonder”, kicks off the holiday season with the 13th Annual Gingerbread Design Competition. The event promises a spectacular Holiday Gala featuring a nationally recognized gingerbread structure competition showcasing magnificent gingerbread creations by San Diego’s leading master chefs, artists and designers. All proceeds will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County, which offers free services to more than 30,000 San Diegans afflicted with epilepsy.
