RadioASB “Christmas Eve Yule Log 2006”
San Diego, CA – December 12, 2006 - Syntarus Corporation,
a global telecommunications, radio broadcast programming and information
management technology firm based in San Diego, CA today formally
announced that Access 1 Communications will syndicate for broadcast
on Christmas Eve this year the “Christmas Eve Yule Log 2006”,
a special holiday program developed and produced by Syntarus subsidiary
RadioASB (American Songbook Radio).
Access 1 Communications, a New York City based radio broadcast
group, owns radio stations throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Texas and Louisiana, including a television station in Atlantic
City, New Jersey and radio station WWRL in New York City. Access
1 Communications also owns SuperRadio, a general market syndication
company which distributes 40 radio programs to over 1,400 affiliates
encompassing more than 725 radio stations throughout the USA. Of
these 725 stations, approximately 150 are located in the top 50
markets nationwide. The shows are broadcast to an estimated 100
million people throughout the United States.
The RadioASB “Christmas Eve Yule Log 2006” has been
scheduled by Access 1 Communications for broadcast on Christmas
Eve (December 24th) from 4:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
The program will be simulcast on RadioASB at www.RadioASB.com with
a special RadioASB re-broadcast beginning at 10:00PM Eastern Standard
Time.
According to RadioASB Executive Vice President Richard F. Burrell,
"The RadioASB “Christmas Eve Yule Log" was our original
RadioASB debut when we initiated Internet radio broadcasting on
Christmas Eve of 2005. The program showcases the finest of classic,
traditional and contemporary Holiday music from the American Songbook
catalog, interspersed with greetings and dedications to the RadioASB
listening audience worldwide.” He adds, “We place a
special emphasis on sending out messages and dedications to all
those who spend Christmas Eve on call and on duty, including US
military personnel stationed around the world, law enforcement and
firefighters, the US Coast Guard, the US Border Patrol, ambulance
crews, medical and hospital personnel, long distances truck drivers
and all the workers who staff establishments open throughout the
night at this most special time of the year.”
This year’s six hour broadcast covers an incredibly wide
spectrum of American Songbook music, presented in the inimitable
style of RadioASB program host Carl J. Sabatino, a long time veteran
of New York City FM radio. Mr. Sabatino, who also serves as RadioASB
Program Director, applies his extensive broadcasting expertise by
expertly weaving a Holiday landscape bursting with a kaleidoscope
of musical moods, ranging from the very solemn "Carol of the
Advent" by the Canterbury Choristers to the liltingly upbeat
acappella performance of "Joy to the World" by the Beach
Boys.
The RadioASB “Christmas Eve Yule Log”, now a much anticipated
RadioASB Holiday special, was originally broadcast over New York
City FM airwaves for many years each Christmas Eve by Mr. Sabatino,
where it became a cherished Holiday tradition for thousands of listeners
in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
Mr. Sabatino notes, “It is my extreme privilege to offer
the “Christmas Eve Yule Log” as a special Holiday gift
to the global radio community on the World Wide Web from all of
us here at RadioASB.”
RadioASB studio engineer, Joseph “JoeyB” Baron, the
mastermind at the helm of the RadioASB studio console, has been
completely immersed in finalizing production tasks related to this
year’s program. In spite of long hours spent diligently working
behind the scenes in RadioASB’s “Studio 7”, Mr.
Baron happily relates, “We have put an incredible amount of
time and effort into this year’s production, and we were absolutely
thrilled to learn that Access 1 Communications has picked up the
program for syndication this year. For all of us here at RadioASB
it really was the icing on the cake when we received the word.”
In addition to the wonderful music, RadioASB listeners will be
treated to a liberal sprinkling of delightful Holiday promos featuring
the golden voice of Bill Owen, host of RadioASB’s “Music
Essentials with Bill Owen”. Lending to the festive atmosphere
of the program will be the vibrant voice-overs of Ms. Jesse Anne
Pirraglia, another exceptionally talented RadioASB on-air personality.
Tying everything together in a superbly packaged Holiday program
is Mr. Tony “Boss Man” Camillo, who oversees the operations
of RadioASB “Studio 7” with world class flair.
RadioASB wishes all the best of good health and good spirits throughout
the Holiday Season, with much Peace, Happiness and Good Fortune
worldwide in 2007!
